1. General
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pryndex platform ("Service"), operated by Pryndex ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description
Pryndex is an online coding education platform that offers interactive programming courses. The Service includes:
- Interactive coding challenges with automatic evaluation
- Courses in multiple programming languages (C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, SQL)
- Progress tracking, XP system, and achievements
- In-browser code execution
3. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. If you are under 13, you may only use the Service with parental or guardian consent and under their supervision, in accordance with GDPR Art. 8 and applicable data protection laws.
4. User Account
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Keeping your login credentials confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription and Payment
5.1 Free Plan
Pryndex offers a limited number of free challenges per course. Free access requires creating an account.
5.2 Premium Subscription
Full access to all courses and challenges requires a Premium subscription. Prices and billing periods are listed on the subscription page.
5.3 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.
5.4 Right of Withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, unless you have expressly consented to the Service being provided before the withdrawal period expires and have acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is forfeited.
5.5 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account profile or Stripe's billing portal. The subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Execute malicious, harmful, or illegal code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Overload systems with excessive code execution
- Share account credentials with others
- Automate access to the Service without written permission
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute course content
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Content
All course content, including text, code, graphics, and design, belongs to Pryndex and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, distribute, or publish course content without written permission.
7.2 Your Code
Code you write and submit through the Service remains your property. We reserve the right to analyze submitted code in an anonymized manner to improve the Service.
8. Availability and Liability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by mandatory law.
We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, data loss, or consequential damages, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation (including the GDPR).
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with reasonable notice. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts. Consumers may alternatively file complaints through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
